Hotel De Bourgtheroulde, Autograph Collection Rouen, Rouen

My stay at the hotel was awesome! The rooms were spacious and elegantly decorated, with a huge bed and lovely bathroom; however, it was a bit noisy at night overlooking the Place de Pucelles. The service was happy to offer advice and solve any problems, though not as professional and polite as I expected. The location was perfect for exploring historical Rouen, right in the heart of the city near the Jeanne d'Arc church. The dining experience was lovely with everything I could have wished for; however, it was a little underwhelming. The facilities were fantastic, offering great value for money.

I was given a remote room in this quiet hotel, which was a bit outdated and less well-appointed compared to my previous stays. The room had some stains on the carpet, low water pressure in the bathroom shower, and issues with water not draining properly in the sink. However, the tranquility of the surroundings was a nice touch.

I had a mix of experiences at this hotel. The room was a good size and had a reasonable view over the city. It was very clean with a good en-suite shower room, but the low beams and noise from workers cleaning below woke me up early. The location was ideal for discovering Rouen, but a bit challenging to find if driving. The service was friendly and accommodating, although some aspects were disappointing. The dining was not up to par, but the coffee and juice were good. Overall, it was a decent stay with some ups and downs.

The hotel had a nice attic room, with a lovely and spacious bathroom, immaculate and comfortable for a couple. The service was truly nice, especially the young valet staff. The location was very convenient, just a few blocks from the cathedral and many restaurants. The dining experience was a treat with delicious and varied options. A lovely stay overall.

This hotel’s best feature is its prime location in the heart of the historical old town center of Rouen, making it very convenient for exploring the city on foot. However, the rooms are run down and feel stuffy, which may not meet everyone's expectations.
